KMART super double coupons
 

Does anyone know about the Kmart super double coupon special ??

I heard about it briefly. Some stores are participating & others
are not.

My sister said she got $75.00 off of her grocery bill.

I am trying to found out exactly how it works, but couldn't find
anything.

I think your allowed to use 2 of the same coupon on an item
and then it's doubled, but I'm not sure.

When I find out more I'll post.

We went to the Kmart in Danville IL. for the double coupon deal.

They would double coupons with a face value of $2 to $4. We heard they would not take coupons that were printed online but they did take some of ours.

There was also a coupon available online that would get you $5 off of a $50 purchase at Kmart. On Kmart website.

We purchased about $80 worth of stuff for $10.

Now on Kmart in general. Years ago I shopped at Kmart a lot but have since gone to Walmart because the Kmart is 30 miles away and the newer Wal-mart is 15 miles. I was saddened to see what Kmart has become. Lack of inventory, lack of brands, prices much higher than Wal-mart's. It will be a while before I go back.

Thats because they are now Sears light. You never did get a deal from shears.

I learned from the last double coupon week they had, not all KMarts have the same items and I brought many food coupons only to find they had a limited amount of food products. This week, I am concentrating on cleaning products, pet food, first aid, and personal hygiene items.

Coupons have been a huge blessing to my food budget and can easily donate to those who are in need. It is really fun when the stores pay me to take their stuff away. Love it!

Not all stores are participating, but you can find out by going to the KMart online flyer and entering in your zip code. On the front page near the bottom, it will state if they are doubling or not. From what I read, Kmart will allow you to use 4 like coupons with a total of 75 coupons per customer per day.

Hmmm, I guess we in Colorado take Double Coupons for granted. King Soopers (part of Kroger's chain) has had double coupons all the time, for at least the last 20 years. Maximum double value is up to $1.00. Still, that is worth a lot at the cash register.

Price Chopper and Shaws (local grocery stores) will double coupons, but it is nice when you can get other stores like Kmart to double coupons. Just think if Thug-Mart (Wal-mart) would double coupons.

about 12 years ago i worked at stop and shop, which is a grocer in the northeast. we used to have "coupon lady's" that would use coupons along with the stores "triple coupons" issued in their flyers to buy carts full of groceries for like 3 dollars.

it seemed like they mainly bought dish soap and cereal, but they got other stuff, and the got it pretty much for free.

the store offered 6 triple coupons a week in it flyer, so they would get a bunch of flyers and divide it up into lots of little orders, becasue you could only use 6 triple coupons per order.

i asked the manager about it once and she said they didnt mind doing it becasue it made their sales amount go up(which looked good comparing them to other locations)(forget about the fact that they were getting a dollar for 50 dollars worth of groceries). so they didnt mind ringing up 50 separate orders for an hour from the same person.


not surprisingly, they no longer offer these triple coupons.
